ALS
Release Notes v4.2.106
- The
application now allows the user to edit the four standard letters
within the application: Expired Rabies Letter, Billing Reminder
Letter, Delinquent License Letter and the Final Delinquent License
Letter. There is now a configuration item (only accessible to
"System Administrator" users) that will open a form and allow the
user to key in whatever text they want, so that the letters can now
be customized to fit your community's needs.
- The application now
allows the user to select a report and enter all of the search
parameters, but instead of just generating the report the report
within ALS the application now allows the user to export the report
to excel. Right before the report is exported to excel the user has
the ability to select which fields they want to include in the
report. Once the report is exported to excel any user (with basic
Microsoft Excel knowledge) can sort the report by any field they
want and can manipulate the data to fit their needs. Once the data
has been exported to excel the user can create mail-merge documents
to print labels and other items.
- The application now
allows the users (with "System Administrator" user access) to
correct their own tag numbers. If you incorrectly enter a tag
number you can now resolve the issue within your own office by
having a user with "System Administrator" clearance double on the
lock icon by the tag number (on the animal information screen).
Double clicking on the lock icon opens the tag number field so that
a user can correct tag numbers, but keep in mind that at this point
the system isn't checking to see if the corrections your making are
creating duplicate tag numbers, so be sure you are changing the tag
to a unique number.
- The application now has a
new pop up message prompt when saving a new animal that will prompt
the user to decide whether the animal is new to the town/city. If
the user selects that the animal is new to the town/city then the
application won't assign any late fees for the animal. However if
the user selects that the animal isn't new to the town/city, but
just never came in to license their animal then the system will
treat that animal as if its been in the database and assign the
appropriate late fees (depending on where you are in your licensing
year).
- The application now
allows the issuance of tags from previous years while still
assigning the proper fiscal year in front of the tag. The user will
be able to issue tag numbers for licenses that weren't paid from
previous years without the aid of IMAS.
- The application will now
allow the user to export any report to a PDF file (as long as the
report is printed to the Primo PDF printer). You will no longer
have to print out every report in order to transfer the data to
someone else. You can now export the report to a PDF file at which
point you can save it to a disk or email it to whoever was
requesting the data.
